PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Minister for Education, Faisal Khan Tarakai, announced that an e-transfer policy has been launched to ensure transparency and impartiality in the teacher transfer process in province.
As per media report, he chaired a meeting attended by Secretary Education Masood Ahmad, Special Secretary Qaisar Alam, Additional Secretary Fayaz Alam, and other concerned officials.
The minister stated that teachers would apply online for vacant posts, and transfers would be made based on merit after the approval of the concerned forum.
The meeting was informed that all arrangements for the e-transfer policy have been completed, and vacant posts will be uploaded on the e-transfer portal by the district education officer by September 9.
It was mentioned that teachers would apply online from September 10 to September 20. District education officers will complete verification from September 21 to 24, applications will be uploaded by September 26, and online transfer orders will be issued on September 27.
The Education Minister directed that transparency be ensured throughout the process, stating that various indicators are included in the e-transfer policy, and teachers will be assigned posts based on their scores.
