“Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar,” the recently released romantic comedy starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, has grossed over INR 100 crore worldwide in just six days after its release.

While the movie has not been a domestic success, its international box office results are only slightly better, making it the second-best performance for this year so far.

According to sources, the movie has made INR 8.2 million in just six days, with an estimated INR 20.5 crore from overseas sales. The total amount collected stands between 1.0 and 1.03 million.

Despite the slow start, there is still plenty of time for the movie to earn a respectable amount of money before the premiere of Ajay Devgn’s eagerly awaited “Bholaa,” which is scheduled to hit theatres on March 31.

“Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar” is the 12th movie to surpass the 100 crore milestone since the Covid pandemic. Filmmakers have faced significant challenges drawing audiences to theatres due to fears of the disease.

The movie’s success is a testament to the growing willingness of audiences to return to theatres and enjoy new releases on the big screen.
