ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi says that there are no talks with PTI; talks are not conducted through threats. “It is not possible for them to lash out at our people, and we will hold talks,” he said.
The Interior Minister told the media after appearing in the Islamabad High Court that a delegation from Belarus is reaching Islamabad on November 24. “It is not appropriate to come to Islamabad and protest on such an important day,” he added.
Mohsin Naqvi stated that no one can be allowed to hold a rally without permission. “Whatever order the Chief Justice gives will be followed,” he affirmed.
He further said that he appeared today on the order of the Islamabad High Court. “Some incident occurs in the country every day. Even today, 38 people have been martyred in Kurram. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is our province, and we will provide all possible help to them,” he said.
He also mentioned that Afghans were arrested during their previous protest. “I do not understand why Afghans are protesting,” he remarked.
He reiterated that there are no negotiations with PTI. “Negotiations are not based on threats. I am in favor of negotiations, but it is not possible to make threats and negotiate at the same time.
It is not possible for them to pelt sticks at our people, and then we negotiate,” he stated. “Keeping Red Zone D-Chowk safe is our priority,” he concluded.
