The event received positive feedback from participants, showing the importance of protecting nature for future generations.

Pakistan, particularly in Punjab, is facing severe smog issues. In November 2024, Lahore was ranked among the most polluted cities globally. The toxic air has caused the Punjab government to declare a health crisis, leading to school closures and outdoor activity bans.

The smog is caused by vehicle emissions, industrial pollution, and crop burning. This situation highlights the urgent need for actions like tree plantation to address Pakistan’s growing environmental problems.
