QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has announced that free passports will be issued to the citizens of Chaman, and a fee of Rs 16,000 will be paid by the provincial government.
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti inaugurated the issuance of Computerized Arms License by the Government of Balochistan in Quetta. On this occasion, he also inspected the Computerized Arms License Branch at the DC Office.
Bugti said that the issuance of computerized arms licenses will end the complaints of corruption. He added that local and domicile systems are also going to be digitized, with digital arms licenses being spread throughout Balochistan, and old licenses also being computerized.
On this occasion, Sarfaraz Bugti reiterated that citizens of Chaman will receive free passports, with the passport fee of Rs 16,000 being covered by the Balochistan government.
The Chief Minister of Balochistan mentioned that all legal documents are being digitized, with the digitization of many documents already underway in other districts of Balochistan. He further stated that digital arms licenses will be issued for 5 years.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti noted ongoing negotiations with the Baloch Solidarity Committee since day one, emphasizing talks with Dr. Mahrang Baloch.
Bugti also mentioned the imposition of emergency in 4 flood-affected districts of Balochistan, asserting that Dera Bugti is no longer a no-go area and affirming the government’s commitment to providing protection to the people.
