LAHORE: The Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has introduced the “Maryam Ki Dastak App” to facilitate citizens by offering various government services at their doorstep across the province.
All citizens, including senior citizens, women, sick and disabled persons, will initially be able to access 10 services at their doorsteps through this app.
For the services, a dedicated Dastak representative, called a Facilitator, will visit the citizen’s house to provide the service.
Citizens can apply for Domicile, E-Stamping, Birth Certificate, Death Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Divorce Certificate, Motor Vehicle Transfer, Property Tax, Token Tax, and New Vehicle Registration through this app.
Furthermore, citizens can order services through the Web Portal, Mobile App, or Call Center 1202. They can also track their applications using their Tracking ID.

The Punjab government has encouraged individuals from the public to apply for the position of Facilitator to provide home delivery of services to citizens, for a commission.

The eligibility criteria for facilitators Jobs are as follows:
Eligible citizens of Lahore may apply for registration via the Dastak Facilitator Mobile Application.
- Must be above 18 years of age.
- At least Intermediate OR at least F.A./F.Sc./A Levels.
- Police Character Certificate.
- Holding a bank account in their name.
- Own Motorbike & Valid Driving License.
- Mobile Phone or Tablet with Internet Connectivity / Data.
A Dastak representative will ensure delivery of documents from the application form to the citizen’s doorstep.

Below are the steps to register as a facilitator on the DASTAK platform;
Stage 1: Download the “Dastak Facilitator App” from either the App Store or Play Store.
Stage 2: Click on Sign-Up.
Stage 3: Complete the Appilcation form.
Stage 4: Upload the necessary documents.
Stage 5: Click on Submit.
NOTE: After checking, the chosen candidates will get training from PITB to bring services to people’s homes.
