ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has ordered action against mobile phone SIM cards that haven’t been checked properly to stop them from being used illegally.
During his visit to the National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) headquarters in Islamabad, the minister said to stop using mobile phone SIMs that are connected to expired national identity cards.
Naqvi also suggested creating good Nadra offices all over the country, like the good police stations in Punjab, which have made services better for people and made the police look better.
He also said that the fee for death certificates will be removed, and it will be easier to get birth, marriage, and divorce certificates through local councils, while making sure people’s information is kept safe.
