ISLAMABAD: The exams for O Level and A Level by Cambridge Assessment International Education will start from April 25 and go on till June 13, 2024.
About 100,000 students from different parts of Pakistan will take these exams in May/June 2024. In Karachi alone, more than 40,000 students will appear for Cambridge exams, and around 15,000 students from all over Pakistan will also take these exams as private candidates.
Among these, about 6,000 students from Karachi will take the exams as private candidates. Pakistan has set up about 100 exam centers all over the country, with Karachi having about 20 of them.
In Pakistan, the most popular O Level subjects are Pakistan Studies, Islamiat, Mathematics, English, and Urdu. As for A Level, Physics, Mathematics, Business, Chemistry, and Computer Science are the most liked subjects.
The Cambridge system is linked with about 800 schools across Pakistan, and Karachi has 200 of these affiliated schools.
