KARACHI: The Karachi traffic authorities announced the traffic diversion strategy for the forthcoming Pakistan Super League 2024 (PSL Season 9) matches in the city, scheduled from February 28 to March 18.
A spokesperson for the traffic department stated that the PSL 2024 fixtures in Karachi would take place at the National Stadium. Consequently, the traffic police have devised a dedicated traffic arrangement to manage the parking needs of cricket enthusiasts.
As per the arrangement, individuals arriving from Karsaz are advised to park their vehicles at the National Coaching Centre and China Ground on Sir Shah Suleman Road, accessible via Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road and Stadium Flyover.

Similarly, those coming from New Town are instructed to park their vehicles on the left side of Sir Shah Sulaiman Road after passing the Aga Khan Hospital, at the National Coaching Center and China Ground.
To mitigate congestion, heavy traffic will be rerouted from Sohrab Goth to Nipa, Liaquatabad No. 10 towards Hasan Square, and University Road to PP Chowrangi. Entry of heavy vehicles near the stadium vicinity will be restricted.

The public is urged to collaborate with law enforcement agencies to ensure a hassle-free experience. It is emphasized that vehicles or motorcycles should not be parked on service roads or main thoroughfares but only in designated parking areas.
