Islamabad Electric Supply Company (ISCO) has transferred 258 officers, including two chief engineers, 11 superintendent engineers, 52 axes, 171 sub-divisional officers (SDOs), 6 deputy chief engineers (DCEs), and 5 revenue officers.
The transfers were made on purely merit basis, considering the performance of the officers, according to an ISCO spokesperson. The spokesperson said that the transfers will not affect the ongoing campaign against electricity thieves in the region.
The transfers come at a time when ISCO is facing a number of challenges, including rising electricity theft and increasing demand for power. The company has been working to improve its performance and reduce losses.
