PCB confirms HBL PSL 2025 schedule unchanged, matches to proceed as planned

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) X will proceed as scheduled, with Islamabad United facing Quetta Gladiators today at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

As per the details, the toss is set for 7:30 PM, and the match will start at 8:00 PM.

The HBL PSL returns to Rawalpindi for four matches on 7, 8, 9, and 10 May. The final group stage match will be held in Multan on 11 May.

The Qualifier is planned for Rawalpindi on 13 May, while Eliminator 1, Eliminator 2, and the Final will take place at Gaddafi Stadium on 14, 16, and 18 May, respectively.

Earlier, in the 25th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 at Multan Cricket Stadium, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Multan Sultans by seven wickets on Monday.

Batting first, Multan Sultans scored 108 runs, getting all out in 19.1 overs. Shai Hope led with 23 runs off 21 balls, followed by Tayyab Tahir with 22. Mohammad Rizwan (17), Yasir Khan (10), and Mohammad Hasnain (11) also reached double figures.

For Zalmi, Ahmed Daniyal took 3 wickets for 17 runs in four overs. Maaz Sadaqat and Luke Wood each claimed two wickets, while Ali Raza, Saim Ayub, and Alzarri Joseph took one each.

Chasing 109, Zalmi reached the target in 13 overs, losing three wickets. Saim Ayub scored 49 runs off 33 balls, including four fours and three sixes. Max Bryant remained not out at 38 off 20 balls, with five fours and a six.

Shahid Aziz took two wickets for Sultans, and David Willey took one.

Peshawar Zalmi stayed in fifth place with eight points from eight matches, narrowing the gap with fourth-placed Lahore Qalandars, who have nine points from nine matches.
