ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited a flour distribution centre where free flour bags were being provided to needy individuals by the federal government.

During the visit, PM Sharif directed officials to remove obstacles faced by citizens in verifying their CNICs and to devise a mechanism for those who only possess photocopies of their missing original cards. He also instructed authorities to prioritize the distribution of flour bags among elderly individuals and women, and to distribute two bags instead of one to avoid frequent visits to the centre. The prime minister expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made by the Commissioner and deputy commissioner of Islamabad and hoped that operational issues would be resolved promptly.
