ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of the Muslim League (N) and former chairman of the Abandoned Waqf Properties Board, Siddique-ul-Farooq, has passed away.
According to media reports, the funeral prayers of Siddique-ul-Farooq will be offered on Monday. He had been ailing for a long time and was suffering from kidney disease.
It should be remembered that Siddique-ul-Farooq was the chairman of the Abandoned Waqf Properties Board during the government of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Siddique-ul-Farooq and prayed for the highest ranks of the deceased.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the services of the late Siddique-ul-Farooq to the Pakistan Muslim League (N) will always be remembered. With his death, the party has lost a sincere and astute politician.
The Chief Minister of Punjab also expressed sorrow over the death of Siddique-ul-Farooq. Maryam Nawaz paid tribute to the political services of the deceased and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.

Recently, representing Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Parliamentary Party Leader in the Senate, Irfan Siddiq, visited the house of the former Information Secretary of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), Siddique-ul-Farooq, where he inquired about Siddique-ul-Farooq’s health.
Irfan Siddiq, while presenting a bouquet to Siddique-ul-Farooq on behalf of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, said that the Prime Minister is concerned about his health and has directed that all possible facilities be provided for his treatment.
