ISLAMABAD: The shooting of the new web series, ‘Fruit Chaat,’ by the world-award-winning young director of Pakistani showbiz, Moeez Abbas, has begun.
The story of this web series has been written by writer and human activist Tanzila Khan, who herself is playing the lead role in this web series, while renowned actors Fawad Jalal and Nadia Afghan will also be seen playing special roles in this project.
The story of ‘Fruit Chaat’ revolves around an educated and capable girl, ‘Shabana,’ who is a wheelchair user but is a great example of courage. However, she faced many difficulties in society from childhood to adulthood, but she did not give up, fought these difficulties bravely, and was able to make a place for herself in society.
Shabana is struggling to make a place for herself in a society where concepts and prejudices related to disability become an obstacle between dreams and success.

This unique story, full of comedy, will make the audience laugh and leave them pondering many topics in their minds, including employment, love, friendship, and the experiences of being a woman.
Director Moeez Abbas’s web series is currently in the shooting stage and is likely to be released in the first week of January, while the final release date will be announced soon.
The 7-episode web series, ‘Fruit Chaat,’ will be released on its official streaming partner, ‘Myco.’ ‘Fruit Chaat’ was earlier presented as a ‘short film,’ which has also won ‘Best Short Film’ awards from the Muslim International Film Festival (UK), Women’s International Film Festival, and Russia.
Director Moeez Abbas is one of Pakistan’s emerging talents, who is making the country famous on the global stage by making several projects successful as a director in the field of TV and film production and direction.
It should be remembered that young director Moeez Abbas also holds the honor of being the only Pakistani director to have won two ‘Zee Five Global Content Festival’ awards.
