As per report, Sub-Inspector Haider Shah was attacked by unknown assailants in the Jhangi Sayedan area of Shahzad Town police station. According to the police, the shooting took place outside the sub-inspector’s residence.
After the incident, Hyder Shah was taken to the Polyclinic in critical condition but survived. Sub-Inspector Hyder Ali Shah was assigned to the investigation department of the police station in the industrial area.

CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, while Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has requested a report and ordered the immediate arrest of the suspects.
The footage shows the suspects arriving in the street in pursuit. As soon as the sub-inspector parked his car in front of his house, a suspect in a white car opened fire.
IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has also ordered the use of all resources to apprehend the suspects. The police have formed special teams.
Sub-Inspector Hyder Ali Shah was the investigating officer for various murder cases, and the police have started investigating the incident.
