ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Test team captain Shan Masood says that it will be a pity if people are criticizing even after winning the series.
Shan Masood, while giving a press conference in Rawalpindi after the success in the Test series against England, said that it is a pleasure to win after a long time. He wants to give credit to the Pakistanis for the series win.
In response to a question, Shan Masood said that if people are criticizing even after winning, then it will be a pity. He said that cricket is a team game, Shan and Rizwan played differently from their natural game, while Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafiq’s performances were for the team.
The credit should go to the team, not individually. Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafiq are the future of Pakistan, and building such players requires continuity in selection.
Shan Masood said that it doesn’t matter if the Test match ends in a day; they just have to win. It’s sad when Pakistan loses the match.

In response to another question, Shan Masood said that there is no greater pride than the captaincy of Pakistan, but it is a responsibility that must be fulfilled. England is not a small team, and things have to be looked at according to the conditions.
The spinners were bowling in spin conditions for the first time. His target, regardless of the conditions, is to get a positive result for Pakistan.
The captain of the national team said that the performance of all the players in the series is commendable. Sajid Khan and Nauman Ali bowled well in the series.
It should be remembered that Pakistan defeated England by 9 wickets in the Pindi Test and won the three-match series 2-0. This is Pakistan’s first win in a home Test series after almost three and a half years.
