ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has plans to build a wildlife safari park in the federal capital, Islamabad.

A decision in this regard was made at a meeting with CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, which was also attended by senior officials of the authority.

The safari park will be developed on a ‘Jungle Theme,’ featuring tree houses that allow visitors to watch wild animals from nearby distances and an animals’ rehabilitation center.

The meeting also decided to launch ‘Pakistan Street,’ featuring food outlets of international brands. It was determined that work on both projects would commence during the upcoming financial year after detailed technical planning.
