ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that the bilateral relations and economic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are strengthening and deepening, as reported by Radio Pakistan.
In a statement at the end of his visit to Saudi Arabia, he mentioned that a business delegation from the Kingdom is expected to visit Pakistan soon. He believes that the arrival of Saudi business leaders will accelerate the economic partnership between the two nations.
The Prime Minister is determined to work diligently to realize the agreements made at the leadership level. According to Shehbaz Sharif, the economic partnership has initiated a new chapter in the fraternal relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as per the Radio Pakistan website.
Describing his three-day visit to Saudi Arabia as historic, Shehbaz Sharif noted that there has been an exchange of two high-level delegations in the last two months.
On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh, the Prime Minister also conducted meetings with world leaders to enhance mutual cooperation in various sectors, including trade and investment.
Concerning the situation in Palestine, the Prime Minister firmly stated that world peace will continue to be unattainable until peace is established in Gaza.
He expressed his gratitude to Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman for his generous hospitality and affection for Pakistan. He commended the Crown Prince for giving special directives to Saudi Ministers concerning Pakistan.
Shehbaz Sharif also recognized the efforts of Saudi Ministers in ensuring the implementation of the understandings reached at the leadership level between both countries.
