ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Government has issued a notification approving changes to the new academic year syllabus for Classes 9 and 11.
According to a media report, the notification issued on Sunday indicates that the Ministry of Education of the Punjab Government has formally approved changes to the educational curriculum for ninth and eleventh grades, as managed by the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board.
The notification instructs the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board to print books based on the new syllabus for Classes 9 and 11.

The notification has been issued by the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board, under which new books will be printed for the upcoming academic year.
According to the notification, the syllabus for English, Urdu, Islamiat, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics have been changed. The syllabus for Biology and Computer Science have also been revised.
Additionally, the notification states that Class 10 students will study Pakistan as part of the new syllabus.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz officially inaugurated the school nutrition program.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the school nutrition program in DG Khan, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that there are thousands of schools in Punjab where lakhs of children study.
Resources are few, but good times will come, and they are coming. All efforts will be made. I will do what I can to meet the nutritional needs of the children.
