Reportedly, Swift is set to make a return to the NFL scene at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday night during the Jets’ matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Swift, who has been rumored to be in a relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, was spotted in Kansas City watching the Chiefs triumph over the Bears from a luxurious suite alongside Kelce’s mother, Donna.
However, following the intersection of the NFL and Swift worlds last Sunday, Swifties went into a frenzy, sparking a surge in jersey sales, memes, and media coverage.
One Swiftie, 28-year-old Mikala McCauley, disclosed that her husband had considered selling the tickets he had purchased for the game after Jets’ Aaron Rodgers sustained an injury. However, McCauley’s husband has now transformed the game night into a date night because she wanted to accompany him to the game just to see Taylor Swift.
McCauley even acquired a $67 Kelce jersey and has been scouring the internet in search of the red Chiefs jacket Swift sported last Sunday, as reported by Bloomberg.
