State Bank Won’t Issue New Currency Notes on Eid ul Fitr 2024

ISLAMABAD: Like the past few years, new currency notes will not be issued on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr 2024 this year as well.

According to Media reports, similar to previous years, new currency notes will not be issued on Eid ul Fitr this year as well. The State Bank of Pakistan has decided not to issue new notes on Eid this year.

On the other hand, citizens are visiting private banks to obtain new notes, but sources have further informed that due to the non-issuance of new notes, copies will not be provided to citizens this year as well.

It should be noted that the State Bank has not been issuing new currency notes on Eid since 2020.
