This phase will witness 21 matches played across 10 cities, with each team participating in a minimum of three and a maximum of five games.
The season opener will see defending champions Chennai Super Kings facing Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai on Friday.
The first weekend includes two doubleheaders, with Punjab Kings hosting Delhi Capitals on Saturday afternoon, followed by Kolkata Knight Riders against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the evening.
On Sunday afternoon, Rajasthan Royals will take on Lucknow Super Giants in Jaipur, while Gujarat Titans, the 2022 champions and runners-up of the last season, will clash with Mumbai Indians in the evening.
Delhi Capitals, opting for Visakhapatnam as their initial home ground, will welcome Chennai Super Kings on March 31, followed by a match against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 3.
In light of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, BCCI will coordinate with government and security agencies to adhere to all necessary protocols.
Any adjustments concerning the schedule’s first two weeks will be made once the election dates are announced, with subsequent planning synchronized with local authorities to accommodate polling schedules.
