PCB Unveils PSL 9 Anthem ‘Khul Ke Khel’ Featuring Ali Zafar and Aima Baig

The official anthem titled “Khul Ke Khel” for the ninth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 9), featuring Pakistani stars Ali Zafar and Aima Baig, was unveiled by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday.

The anthem, created entirely by Zafar, incorporates footage from the previous PSL season, showcasing highlights from all six franchises.

The upcoming PSL season is scheduled to commence on February 17 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, with the reigning champions Lahore Qalandars facing off against Islamabad United. Matches will be held in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi, culminating in the final at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium on March 18, comprising a total of 34 T20 matches.

Karachi will host 11 matches, including the Qualifier, two Eliminators, and the final, while Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will each host nine matches. Multan will witness five matches.

Ticket prices for the event, available since February 6, range from Rs6,000 (VIP) to Rs1,000 (General), with the final match tickets priced at Rs8,000 (VIP) to Rs1,000 (General). Prices for the qualifier start at Rs5,000 (VIP) to Rs750 (General), and tickets for the eliminators are priced similarly.
