ISLAMABAD: Preliminary results of the 2024 general elections have started to surface from different national and provincial constituencies as the vote counting began after the conclusion of day-long polling across the country on Thursday.
Based on unofficial results, independent candidates (many supported by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) are in the lead in the majority of national and provincial constituencies across the country, with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) following closely behind. The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) holds the third position.
National Assembly constituency NA-202 Khairpur-1: Nafisa Shah, the candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party, was declared successful, according to the unofficial results.
PS-86 Malir-III: PPPP Abdur Razzaq Raja has won the Sindh Assembly election.
PK-57 Mardan-IV: Independent candidate Muhammad Zahir Shah has won the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly election.
PS-71 Badin-IV: PPPP candidate Taj Muhammad was declared successful.
PK-28 Shangla-I: Independent candidate Rashad Khan was declared winner.
PS-8 Shikarpur-II: According to unofficial results, PPPP candidate Arif Khan Mehar has won the Sindh Assembly election.
PB-34, Nushki: JUI-P candidate Ghulam Dastagir Badeni has won the Balochistan Assembly election.
PK-10 Swat-VIII: Independent candidate Muhammad Naeem was declared winner.
NA-225 Thatta: PPP candidate Sadiq Ali Memon was declared successful.
PS-61 Hyderabad: Sharjeel Inam Memon was declared successful.
PS-68 Badin: PPP candidate Ahmed Haliputo was declared successful.
PB-9: Pakistan Peoples Party’s Nasibullah Marri was declared winner.
PB-8 Sabi: According to the unofficial results, PPP candidate Sarfraz Chakar Domki was declared successful.
PB-10 Dera Bugti: PPP candidate Mir Sarfaraz Bugti was declared winner.
PB-15 Sohbatpur-1: Pakistan Muslim League-N candidate Saleem Khosa was declared successful.
PB-40: Hazara Democratic Party’s Qadir Nail was declared successful by getting 6,268 votes.
According to the unofficial results, independent candidate Amjad Ali Khan is leading in NA-2 Swat, while Amir Muqam of PML-N is second. Independent candidate Salim Rehman is ahead in NA-3 Swat, while ANP’s Sherbar Khan is second.
In NA-4 Swat, independent candidate Sohail Sultan is on the first position while PTIP’s candidate Mehmood Khan is on the second position. In NA-5 Upper Dir, Sahibzada Sibghatullah is leading the vote count and Jamaat-e-Islami’s Sahibzada Tariqullah is second.
Muhammad Bashir Khan is on the first position in NA-6 Lower Dir, while Sirajul Haq is behind him. In NA-7 Lower Dir, independent candidate Mehboob Shah is leading, while Muhammad Ismail of Jamaat-e-Islami is on second position.
In NA-9 Malakand, independent candidate Junaid Akbar is leading in the vote count while Syed Ahmed Ali of PPP is in second place.
In NA-10 Buner, independent candidate Barrister Gohar Ali Khan is ahead and Jamaat-e-Islami’s Bakht Jahan Khan is second. In NA-11 Shangla, independent candidate Syed Fardeen Khan is in the first place, Amir Muqam of PML-N is in the second place.
According to the unofficial results, independent candidate Maulana Karim Dad is leading in NA-12 Kohistan while Mehboob Ullah Jan of PPP is behind. In NA-13 Battagram, Muhammad Nawaz Khan is leading the vote count and Atta Muhammad is on second spot.
In NA-15 Mansehra, independent candidate Prince Mohammad Gastasab Khan is leading, while PML-N’s Mian Nawaz Sharif is on the second position. In NA-16 Abbottabad, independent candidate Ali Asghar Khan is leading while Murtaza Javed Abbasi of PML-N is on second place.
According to the unofficial results, Ali Khan Jadoon is leading in NA-17 Abbottabad while Mohabbate Khan Awan of PML-N is behind. In NA-18 Haripur Omar Ayub Khan in leading while Babar Nawaz Khan of PML-N is second.
Independent candidate Asad Qaiser is leading in NA-19 Swabi, while Maulana Fazal Ali of JUI-F is behind him. In NA-20 Swabi, independent candidate Shahram Khan Turkai is in the first position while Waris Khan of Awami National Party is in second position.
In NA-21 Mardan, independent candidate Mujahid Ali is leading while Ahmed Ali of ANP is second. In NA-22 Mardan, independent candidate Muhammad Atif is ahead while Amir Haider Khan of Awami National Party is on second spot
In NA-23 Mardan, independent candidate Ali Muhammad Khan is leading while ANP’s Ahmed Khan Bahadur is on second position. In NA-24 Charsadda, independent candidate Anwar Taj is ahead while JUI’s Gohar Ali is behind. In NA-25 Charsadda, independent candidate Fazal Muhammad Khan is leading the vote count against ANP’s Amil Wali Khan.
According to the unofficial results, independent candidate Sajid Khan is ahead in NA-26 Mohmand, another independent candidate Bilal Rehman is on second place. Independent candidate Muhammad Iqbal Khan is ahead in NA-27 Khyber against PML-N Alhaj Shahjee Gul Afridi is second.
In NA-28 Peshawar, independent candidate Sajid Nawaz is leading while JUI’s Noor Alam Khan is behind. In NA-29 Peshawar, independent candidate Arbab Amir Ayub is leading the vote count and ANP’s Saqibullah Khan is second. In NA-30 Peshawar, independent candidate Shandana Gazar is leading while JUI candidate Nasir Khan is on the second position.
According to the unofficial results, in NA-31 Peshawar, Sher Ali Arbab is first and Arbab Alamgir Khan is second. In NA-32 Peshawar, independent candidate Asif Khan is ahead and NAP candidate Ghulam Ahmed Bilor is behind.
Independent candidate Syed Shah Ahad Ali Shah from NA-33 Nowshera is leading while Khan Parvez of Awami National Party is on the second spot. Independent candidate Zulfiqar Ali is ahead in NA-34 Nowshera and Mian Babar Shah Kakakhel of ANP is behind him.
According to the unofficial results, independent candidate Shehryar Khan Afridi is leading in NA-35 Kohat while Abbas Afridi of PML-N is second.In NA-36 Hangu, independent candidate Yousuf Khan is ahead while Ubaid Ullah of JUI-F is on second spot.
Independent candidate Shahid Ahmed is leading in NA-38 Karak while independent candidate Mohsin Ali Ali Khan is second in the same constituency. Independent candidate Naseem Ali Shah is ahead in NA-39 Bannu and Zahid Akram Durrani of JUI-F is behind. In NA-40 North Waziristan, Aurangzeb Khan is on the first position while PNDP’s Mohsin Javed is on the second position.
According to the unofficial results, independent candidate Salim Saifullah Khan is leading in NA-41 Lucky Marwat and independent candidate Sher Afzal Khan Marwat is behind. IN NA-42 South Waziristan, independent candidate Zubair Khan is leading while independent candidate Muhammad Ali Wazir is second.
In NA-43 Tank, independent candidate Dawar Khan Kundi is leading while JUI’s Asad Mehmood is behind. In NA-44 Dera Ismail Khan, independent candidate Ali Amin Khan Gandapur is first and JUI’s Maulana Fazlur Rehman is second spot.
Independent candidate Shandana Gulzar Khan has won the National Assembly election from constituency NA-30 Peshawar-III by securing 78,971 votes.
According to the unofficial result issued by the Returning Officer/ECP, the runner-up from this constituency was JUI-P’s Nasir Khan, who bagged 20,950 votes. Overall voters’ turn-out remained 33.8%.
Balochistan National Party’s Muhammad Akhtar Mengal has won the National Assembly election from NA-261 Surab-Cum-Kalat-Cum-Mastung by securing 3,404 votes.
According to the unofficial result issued by the Returning Officer/ECP, Sardar Sanaullah Khan Zehri of the Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians who bagged 2,871 votes remained second.
Independent candidate Ali Khan Jadoon has won the election for National Assembly constituency NA-17 Abbottabad-II by securing 97,177 votes.
According to the unofficial result issued by the Returning Officer/ECP, his runner-up was Mohabbat Khan of Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz, who bagged 44,522 votes.
The Independent candidate Fazle Shakoor Khan has won the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly election from PK-65, Charsadda-IV by securing 43,103 votes.
According to the unofficial result issued by the Returning Officer/ECP, his runner-up was Jamiat Ulema-e- Islam Pakistan (JUI-P) candidate Muhammad Ahmed Khan who bagged 18,266 votes.
Tanvir Aslam Malik of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has won the election for Punjab Assembly constituency PP-21 Chakwal-II by securing 83,055 votes.
