HAFIZABAD: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif spoke at a gathering during the party’s rally in Hafizabad, highlighting the advancements made in the country during his time as premier.
In his rally speech, Nawaz maintained that had he not been ousted as prime minister, the nation would have witnessed prosperity without unemployment, and every household would be brightly lit.
The PML-N chief credited his government for effectively addressing terrorism and resolving the issue of load-shedding in the country. Expressing regret, the former prime minister emphasized that a decision by five judges removed a representative chosen by 250 million people.
“If our administration had continued, the country would be free from unemployment today. Without my removal from the PM office, the nation would be thriving, and inflation would not be an issue,” stated Nawaz Sharif.
He went on to mention that his administration would have ensured the construction of a new motorway in Hafizabad, similar to the one currently connecting Lahore.
Articulating his vision for the nation, Nawaz declared, “My goal is to make the country self-sufficient. We will build motorways in Hafizabad, just as we did in Lahore.”
Concluding his address, he reaffirmed his dedication to the progress and prosperity of Pakistan, asserting that the PML-N would persist in its endeavors to bring economic stability and development to the nation.
