Underscoring Pakistan’s commitment to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, Kakar mentioned the SIFC’s active efforts to engage investors from Gulf nations, including Qatar, encouraging the ambassador to explore potential collaboration in tourism and media sectors.

The Prime Minister lauded Qatar’s diplomatic role, particularly in contributing to a temporary ceasefire in Gaza. He stressed the imperative for collective international efforts, especially within the Muslim Ummah, to foster peace in Palestine.

In recognition of Ambassador Al-Khater’s initial meeting since assuming office and presenting credentials in November, Kakar congratulated him and expressed hope for the continued strengthening of bilateral ties during his tenure as the Ambassador of Qatar in Pakistan.
