LAHORE: The sale of unapproved food products has been completely halted on the motorways in Punjab.
Notices have been dispatched by the Punjab Food Authority to 326 food points situated along Motorways M1, M2, and M3.
Stipulated in the notice is the requirement for food points to eliminate all non-approved food items by November 21.
All items vended at these food points must possess registration with the Punjab Food Authority. Failure to comply will lead to the confiscation of unapproved products.
Emphasizing this directive, the Food Authority stressed in the notice that consumers should exclusively procure products approved by licensed suppliers authorized by the Punjab Food Authority.
