ISLAMABAD: Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, has announced a march towards the US Consulate on April 11, 2025.
According to a private media report, speaking to the media in Lahore, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that they will march to the US Consulate on April 11, to Karachi on April 13, and to Islamabad on April 20.
He said that Palestinians are facing genocide, America is not anyone’s friend, and people can see the situation in Ukraine. He added that America and Israel are responsible, history will not forgive them, and bombs were dropped on children in Palestine during Eid.
The Jamaat-e-Islami leader said that America and the European Union support Israel, no one is ready to speak about the situation in Gaza, but some people with conscience in the West are protesting.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that 80 to 90 percent of Gaza has been destroyed, and 80,000 people have been displaced there.
On the other hand, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman spoke to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif over the phone and thanked him for reducing electricity prices.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, the prime minister welcomed him. During the conversation, the prime minister said that despite challenges, public relief is the top priority, and this mission will continue.
The prime minister added that, God willing, Pakistan’s progress will keep moving forward. Both leaders expressed concern over Israel’s unprovoked bombing and oppression of unarmed Palestinians in Gaza, as well as the silence of international powers.
