LAHORE: Former Federal Interior Minister and Punjab President of the Muslim League (N), Rana Sanaullah, has claimed that the PML-N will secure 125 seats in the National Assembly from Punjab in the upcoming elections.

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Rana Sanaullah stated that they have multiple choices in each constituency, with a large number of their workers and leaders expressing their intention to contest the elections. The final decisions will be made after careful consideration.

He mentioned that Nawaz Sharif will conduct significant meetings in every divisional headquarters in Punjab and has planned an organized election campaign.

Rana Sanaullah confidently claimed that the PML-N will secure between 120 to 125 seats out of 141 in Punjab and will subsequently form the PML-N government with a simple majority.

He emphasized the need for experienced and sincere leadership to navigate the country out of crisis. Rana Sanaullah highlighted Nawaz Sharif’s previous success in steering the country out of similar crises, despite facing conspiracies, challenging situations, difficulties, and false cases with courage and resilience.

The party leader stressed that they do not oppose criticism; however, it should remain within a certain boundary and be presented in a political manner to be tolerated.

He further mentioned that any claims made by leaders or parties do not concern them, as all parties will participate in the elections. The ultimate decision lies with the people, and all political parties should be allowed to participate. Moreover, if anyone commits a crime, they should be held accountable. Rana Sanaullah expressed his intent to contest the election if he faces any accusations.

The provincial president of the party revealed that during the latest meeting, district committees have been established, which will present their surveys to the parliamentary board. Expressing confidence in their winning position, he highlighted that they are in a better state compared to what occurred in 2018.

He expressed confidence in Makhdoom Ahmed Mahmood as a strong candidate in his constituency, believing in the people’s appreciation for credible candidates. Rana Sanaullah dismissed any weakness in their position in South Punjab and mentioned their ongoing efforts to enhance their standing in the ten constituencies of South Punjab.
