He stressed that restrictions imposed in Kashmir should be lifted, and Kashmiris must have the right to self-determination in accordance with their preferences.

Addressing the ongoing tensions between Hamas and Israel, the Foreign Office spokesperson reiterated Pakistan’s firm disapproval of Israel’s aggressive actions in Gaza, which have been targeting the civilian population, including innocent children and women.

The spokesperson also emphasized the discrimination faced by Palestinians at the hands of Israel, underscoring the urgent need to address this critical matter.

It’s crucial to note that the Israeli military has continued its extensive bombing campaign in Gaza and Khan Yunis, resulting in the loss of over 1,200 Palestinian lives and leaving more than 5,500 individuals injured.

Additionally, there have been reports of Israel using phosphorus bombs in Gaza, with nine UN personnel confirmed dead due to Israeli attacks.

In contrast, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called upon both Israel and Hamas to refrain from targeting educational institutions and hospitals, as well as to ensure the uninterrupted supply of food to Gaza.
