Major Promotions in Islamabad Capital Police as 35 Officers Rise in Ranks

ISLAMABAD: 35 Islamabad Capital Police Officers and Personnel Promoted to Higher Ranks.

Islamabad Police spokesperson announced that a departmental promotion committee meeting, chaired by Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, Islamabad Capital City Police Officer, meticulously assessed the past records and performance of the officers and personnel considered for promotion.

During the committee meeting, 05 sub-inspectors were advanced to the rank of inspectors, 13 assistant sub-inspectors were elevated to sub-inspectors, and 17 head constables were promoted to assistant sub-inspectors. A formal notification confirming the promotion of these 35 officers has been issued based on the committee’s recommendations.

Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, Capital City Police Officer, expressed his commitment to continuing the promotion process for police officers and personnel. He assured that a meeting would be convened shortly to address promotions for all other vacant positions, ensuring that officers and young recruits receive their rightful advancements.

He extended his congratulations to all the promoted officers and emphasized that with higher ranks comes increased responsibility. Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan praised every police officer, considering them heroes dedicated to protecting the city and vowed to collectively work towards making the city crime-free.
