ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has escalated its scrutiny of 20 Capital Development Authority (CDA) officers suspected of engaging in corruption, money laundering, and manipulating official records.
The FIA has alleged that these individuals manipulated records to make fraudulent payments to contractors. The FIA has called upon the CDA to initiate an investigation into the extent of property ownership held by these officers.
Among the 20 implicated officers are individuals holding positions up to the rank of director, deputy director, and additional director. Some of the officers involved include Azmat Hayat, Nasir Khan, Ashiq Hussain, Imran Akhtar, Ghulam Sarwar, Muhammad Shakeel, Zulfiqar Ali Muhammad Yunus, Imran Haider, Nasir Qureshi, and others.
