KARACHI: Inzamam-ul-Haq, the former national team captain and renowned player, has been appointed as the chief selector of the Pakistan cricket team by the management committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
He will take charge and select the Pakistani team for the upcoming series against Afghanistan and the Asia Cup. Additionally, sources indicate that the formation of the selection committee will lead to the announcement of Central Contracts, with changes such as the abolition of white ball and red ball categories, and a significant increase of more than 100% in player remuneration.
It is noteworthy that Inzamam-ul-Haq has previously served as the chief selector of the Pakistan cricket team.
