Officials say that restricting unregistered rickshaws to specific times will reduce traffic jams and make travel easier for citizens.
This plan was approved by a committee formed by the provincial government based on recommendations from traffic police. Police say the move will improve control on roads and bring transparency to the traffic system.
The plan was made due to increasing traffic issues in Peshawar over the past several months. Authorities expect it will provide relief to citizens once implemented.
