KARACHI: Renowned Pakistani chef Zakir Hussain passed away at the age of 58 in Karachi.
According to a private media report, his nephew Shayan Qureshi said that Chef Zakir was suffering from kidney disease and was undergoing dialysis.
Shayan Qureshi shared that Chef Zakir was receiving treatment in the United States, but doctors had given up hope. He returned to Pakistan from the U.S. a month ago.
His funeral prayer will be held tomorrow after the Asr prayer at Jamia Rashidia in Malir Saudabad.
Chef Zakir Hussain Qureshi gained fame through his television appearances on the cooking channel Masala. In his live cooking shows, he taught thousands of recipes to viewers. He was skilled in both Pakistani and international cuisines.

Chef Zakir had a large following in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and other countries. According to a report by Chef Samia, he was born in 1967. He will always be remembered in the world of cooking.
