Petrol and diesel prices expected to drop slightly from April 1

ISLAMABAD: Starting from April 1, a slight reduction in petroleum product prices is anticipated.

Sources from oil companies indicate that the price of petrol and diesel may decrease by approximately 2 rupees per liter.

Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb has stated that an announcement regarding a reduction in electricity rates is expected soon from the Prime Minister.

During an interview with a foreign journal at the Boao Forum in China, Muhammad Aurangzeb remarked that measures are being implemented under the leadership of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to lower electricity rates.

He asserted that this initiative will strengthen the manufacturing sector and boost exports, as the government remains committed to improving the economy.
