Karachi unveils traffic plan for Youm Al Quds rally on March 28

KARACHI: On March 28, 2025, a Youm Al Quds Day rally will be held in Karachi from Numaish to Tibet Center. Traffic police say that people should use other routes instead of M.A. Jinnah Road. Those coming from Teen Hatti or Lasbela can turn right from Guru Mandir towards Soldier Bazaar.

Traffic going from Preedy Street/Regal to Tibet Center will be diverted at Preedy Chowk and Saddar Dawakhana towards P.P. Chowrangi.

Traffic police also say that vehicles from Uncle Saria and Coast Guard will be diverted towards Soldier Bazaar or Nashtar Road.

Traffic from Dawood Pota Road and Lucky Star will be diverted at Preedy Chowk towards Saddar Dawakhana and P.P. Chowrangi.

Teen Hatti/Lasbela: Traffic from Teen Hatti or Lasbela can go right from Guru Mandir to Soldier Bazaar or left from Banori Signal to Jail Chowrangi and P.P. Chowrangi to reach their destination.

Preedy Street: Traffic from Preedy Street/Regal towards Tibet Center will be diverted at Preedy Chowk and Saddar Dawakhana towards P.P. Chowrangi.

Fresco Chowk: Traffic from Fresco Chowk/Eidgah Chowk towards Tibet Center will be diverted from Jubilee to Agha Khan III Road, then left towards Uncle Saria and Coast Guard to Soldier Bazaar or Nashtar Road.

Dawood Pota Road and Lucky Star: Traffic from Dawood Pota Road and Lucky Star will be diverted at Preedy Chowk towards Saddar Dawakhana and P.P. Chowrangi.

Agha Khan III Road: Traffic from Agha Khan III Road and Garden to Coast Guard will be diverted via Bahadur Yar Jung Road to Soldier Bazaar and Guru Mandir.

A traffic police spokesperson said that people can call 1915 for help if they face any issues. They can also get updates from the traffic police social media unit on WhatsApp (0305-9266907) or Facebook.
