SBP Issues Statement Regarding New Currency Notes on Eid ul Fitr 2023

ISLAMABAD : With Eid ul Fitr around the corner, the demand for fresh and crisp currency notes of various denominations to distribute as Eidi among children is on the rise.

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) usually issues billions of fresh currency notes for Eid every year. However, this year, the central bank’s spokesperson has confirmed to private media that fresh currency notes will not be issued for the general public.
