KARACHI: Following the Prime Minister’s directions, Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) continues to provide humanitarian aid to the war-affected populations of Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria.
This consignment, sent by NDMA in partnership with Al-Khidmat Foundation, includes approximately 50 tons of supplies. The relief package consisted of tin meat, powdered milk, hygiene kits, clothing, blankets, tents, and sleeping bags. The aid was dispatched via a chartered flight from Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, to Jordan.
As per the Prime Minister’s instructions, a total of 1,803 tons of relief items have been sent so far to the affected people of Palestine (1,320 tons), Gaza (1,320 tons), Lebanon (372 tons), and Syria (111 tons).
The send-off ceremony at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, was attended by senior officials from NDMA, MOFA, and Al-Khidmat Foundation.
The Government of Pakistan remains committed to sending relief supplies in response to the needs of the war-affected populations in Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine, as stated in an official statement.
