Muzaffargarh saw Punjab’s biggest mass wedding ceremony under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s “Dhee Rani Program.” A total of 104 couples tied the knot at the event. Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal, Sohail Shaukat Butt, attended as the chief guest.
Other guests included Parliamentary Secretary for Higher Education Muhammad Ajmal Khan Chandia, MPAs Rana Abdul Mannan and Aon Hamid Dogar, MNA Nawabzada Iftikhar Ahmed, Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan Ashfaq Ahmad Chaudhry , Deputy Commissioner Qurat-Ul-Ain Memon, Deputy Commissioner Kot Addu Syed Munawar Abbas Bukhari , DPO Muhammad Rizwan, and DG Social Welfare Tariq Qureshi.
Speaking at the event, Minister Sohail Shaukat Butt praised the program. He said it reflects the state’s role as a caring mother. He added that CM Maryam Nawaz has shown she is a compassionate leader and a motherly figure to the nation. He stated that the program sends a message that daughters belong to everyone. He also highlighted that state resources are being used to serve the public.
Parliamentary Secretary Muhammad Ajmal Khan Chandia said the Punjab government is leading the country in public service. He added that under CM Maryam Nawaz, new records of development are being set.

At the end of the ceremony, the minister and guests distributed ATM cards as gifts to the newlywed couples. Local dance performances, including Jhumar, were held. A grand dinner was also arranged for the guests
