Islamabad: The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) of the Federal Education Ministry has announced the schedule of summer, winter, and spring vacation 2023 schedule for the upcoming academic year.
According to the official notification released by FDE’s Academics Wing, summer vacations will be observed from June 6, 2023, to July 31, 2023, for all educational institutions under the FDE.
The winter break will be from December 25 to December 31, 2023, while the spring break will be from April 1 to April 7, 2024. In addition, all Islamic, gazetted, and national holidays will be observed by FDE institutions as per moon sighting and federal government notifications.
Students will be on vacation during this time, while Heads of Institutions (HOIs) will make necessary arrangements for stock checking and validation. Repair and maintenance activities will also take place during this period.
