LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced free tractors and land levelers for wheat farmers.
This announcement was made by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif as part of her commitment to achieving higher wheat production in Punjab, with a reward package worth billions of rupees.
Under the package, 1,000 land levelers will be provided free of cost to farmers cultivating wheat on an area of 12.5 to 25 acres, while farmers cultivating more than 25 acres will receive 1,000 green tractors free of cost.

Green tractors and land levelers will be distributed to wheat farmers through a lottery. Wheat farmers can contact the Agricultural Helpline at 0800-17000 or the extension office of the relevant agriculture department for the free tractor and land levelers scheme.
In this regard, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has stated that the farmers of Punjab will not be left alone and will be fully supported. “Farmers are our brothers, and all possible steps will be taken for their development,” she said.
She added that the prosperity of farmers and the restoration of agriculture in Punjab are top priorities.
Farmers are being provided with interest-free, high-quality seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides through Kisan Cards for wheat cultivation.
Several record-breaking projects have been launched for farmers in recent months, which are unprecedented in history.
