Punjab govt transfers 12 officers, deputy commissioners of seven districts included

RAWALPINDI: The Punjab government has issued orders for the appointment and transfer of 12 officers, the deputy commissioners of seven districts are also included in the transfers.

As per media report, deputy Commissioner DG Khan, Maher Shahid Zaman, has been transferred and posted as Chief Operating Officer Tuta, while Qaratul Ain Memon, previously posted there, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Muzaffargarh.

Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala, Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, has been transferred as OS. D, and Additional Secretary P&D, Imrana Tauqeer, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Vehari.

Additional Secretary Sports, Farhan Farooq, was transferred to Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur, while Additional Secretary Primary Health Care and Medical Education, Muhammad Usman Khalid, was transferred and appointed Deputy Commissioner DG Khan.

Naveed Ahmed, Deputy Secretary, Chief Secretariat, has been transferred to Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala, while Additional DGPHA Lahore, Saifullah Khan, has been transferred to Deputy Commissioner Chiniot.

In addition, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Chiniot, Rana Muhammad Umeer, has been promoted to Deputy Commissioner, and the additional post charge has been withdrawn.

Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur, Zaheer Anwar, has been transferred to Additional Secretary P&D, while Deputy Commissioner Muzaffargarh, Mian Usman Ali, has been transferred to Additional Secretary Sports.

Report says, Deputy Commissioner Vehari, Syed Asif Hussain Shah, has been transferred to Deputy Chief Executive Officer Punjab Social Protection Authority.
