He directed that the supply of water in plastic bottles be stopped in all meetings at the Chief Minister’s House. As a result, glass jugs and glasses were seen on the table instead of plastic mineral water bottles in the footage of the Chief Minister’s House meeting.

According to the report, the Sindh Chief Minister, while emphasizing the importance of this decision, directed all participants to stop using plastic bottles and other plastic items in their offices and public places.

The Sindh Chief Minister highlighted the importance of using glass and other metals for environmental improvement, noting that plastic waste clogs drains and sewers.

He stated that there are threats to marine aquatic life and our environment is becoming polluted. To protect natural resources and ensure a pollution-free future, it is important that we, as a nation, promote environment-friendly practices.

The objective of introducing jugs and glasses at the Chief Minister’s House is to set an example of initiatives toward a greener Sindh by eliminating plastic waste from all government institutions and public places.

Murad Ali Shah said that more steps will be taken to clean the environment. This is just the beginning; we are determined to eliminate air pollution and make the atmosphere more conducive.
