ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Railways has decided to prolong the adjusted working hours for reservation offices until the 19th of Ramadan 2024.
Previously, Pakistan Railways altered the timings for reservation offices, which were initially applicable until the 15th of Ramadan. However, the authorities have decided to extend these revised timings until the 19th of Ramadan. Subsequently, the reservation offices will revert to their pre-Ramadan working hours.
Until the 19th of Ramadan, ticket booking offices will operate during two shifts: from 08 am to 01 pm from Monday to Thursday for the first shift, and from 01 pm to 06 pm for the second shift.
On Fridays, there will be a break for prayers from 12:30 pm to 02 pm. From the 20th of Ramadan onwards, the reservation offices will remain open until 09 pm, with an Iftar break.
