ISLAMABAD: A jurisdictional dispute between two police stations has delayed the registration of a robbery case, leaving the victim, Muhammad Sarfaraz Khan, frustrated and seeking justice.

Khan, an employee of a federal educational institution, was robbed on the night of August 21-22 near GT Road No. 26. He had arrived in Islamabad from Lahore via Skyways Transport and was waiting for a taxi to his residence in G-11 when he was approached by three unidentified individuals riding a CD 70 motorcycle. The motorcycle lacked a visible number plate.

The individuals, armed with a pistol, demanded Khan’s belongings. Khan surrendered his OPPO A96 mobile phone, valued at 90,000 rupees, and a wallet containing his ID card, ATM cards from Allied Bank and Bank Al Falah, his driving license, vehicle registration card for a Honda City (with registration number AGT692), a service card, and 20,000 rupees in cash. Speaking in Pashto, the suspects appeared to be aged between 18 and 20 and were dressed in traditional shalwar kameez.
