As per the spokesperson for the Sindh Chief Minister, the head of the fact-finding committee, NED VC Dr. Sarosh Lodhi, presented the report, after which the Sindh Chief Minister approved the committee’s recommendations.

Following the committee’s recommendation, the Chief Minister of Sindh has instructed the immediate removal of Muhammad Shaheer Waqar from the IT sector. The committee has recommended granting an additional 15% marks to pre-engineering, pre-medical, and general science students. Fifteen marks will be awarded in mathematics, twelve marks in physics and statistics, twelve in chemistry, six in botany, and six in zoology to the students.

The committee has recommended preparing the examination papers’ pattern and their marking scheme before the academic year commences.

The caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh has stated that the paper pattern and marking scheme will remain in force for at least three years. Following the committee’s recommendation, the Sindh Chief Minister has directed to increase the number of examination centers to ten. He has also instructed to use the OMR system to check the MCQs paper to prevent errors.

The caretaker Chief Minister has directed that all examination-related employees, including head examiners, examiners, and invigilators, should receive training. The rules and regulations of the Board of Intermediate Education should be strictly enforced. According to the committee, the Controller of Examinations, all Deputy Controllers, and the IT Manager are responsible for conducting the 2023 examinations.

The Chief Minister of Sindh directed to issue notices expressing anger against the board officers who did not follow the rules and regulations.
