Furthermore, the DG has instructed the MP&TE Directorate to take action against illegal advertising and marketing. He also mandated filing a First Information Report (FIR) against the proprietors of these illegal housing schemes.

Additionally, the sponsors of such illegal housing schemes have been instructed to cease the marketing of their unapproved projects immediately and to contact the RDA for the necessary approvals in accordance with the law. Failure to comply will result in strict legal action, the spokesperson emphasized.

Citizens are urged not to invest in illegal and unauthorized housing schemes and are advised to verify the status of housing projects on the official RDA website (www.rda.gop.pk).

The spokesperson noted that the proprietors and sponsors of these illegal housing schemes are deceiving the public through unlawful advertisements. To address this, the RDA’s Planning Wing has requested the Cybercrime Wing of the FIA to take legal action against such misleading advertisements.
