League sources report that during this call, Asif Zardari, who is also the Co-Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), conveyed his congratulations to Nawaz Sharif on his return home. Both leaders expressed their commitment to working together to safeguard the nation.

Prior to this, a meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was conducted under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif. During this gathering, Maryam Aurangzeb refuted reports of the meeting, stating that the news was based on falsehoods. She emphasized the need to refrain from turning speculations and unfounded reports into news.

Furthermore, Faisal Karim Kundi, a prominent figure in the Pakistan People’s Party, expressed concerns about the notion of a “level playing field.” He questioned why there appeared to be disappointment and anxiety regarding the concept of a level playing field.

He asserted that, whether or not such a field exists, the PPP is determined to secure victory in the upcoming elections, just as it did in 1988. The PPP leadership is resolute in its commitment to confront challenges and remain actively engaged in the political arena.

Faisal Karim Kundi also noted that Nawaz Sharif’s return to Lahore did not elicit significant public interest, and the People’s Party is gearing up for a significant event in Kolhaur on February 8.
