Metro bus Eid schedule announced for Islamabad and Rawalpindi

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority has released a special Eid-ul-Adha operating plan for the twin-cities’ Metro Bus system, covering 6–9 June 2025. All metro and feeder routes will commence service at 9 a.m. on the first day of Eid, with adjusted headways to match the expected holiday ridership.

Red Line (Saddar–Pak Secretariat) 10 min
Orange Line (Airport Express) 10 min
Blue Line 15 min
Green Line 15 min

FR-01, FR-06, FR-10, FR-11, FR-12, FR-13, FR-15 60 min
FR-03A, FR-08A, FR-08C 40 min
FR-04, FR-04A, FR-07, FR-09, FR-14, FR-14A 30 min

The authority advises passengers to plan their journeys accordingly, noting that normal weekday frequencies will resume after 9 June. Travellers can follow Metro Buses Updates RWP/ISB on social media for live service alerts throughout the holiday period.

Commuters are requested to arrive at stations a few minutes early and to observe Eid safety guidelines while travelling.
